In northern Dordogne, just outside the village of Tourtoirac and in a peaceful culdesac you will find Les Acacias. Tourtoirac is a simple settlement situated on the small river of Auvézère. The environment is a paradise for hikers, lovers of culture and nature, and famous for its Perigordian specialties such as foie gras, magret de canard, and truffles. Excursions: Castles (Hautefort), caves (Lascaux), fishes, canoes, horse rides (Tourtoirac), mini-golf (Montignac), golf (Périgueux), restaurants, markets (Sarlat, Perigueux, Montignac, Le Bugue), hiking trips (GR 236), and mountain biking.
Les Acacias is comprised of Maison Perigourdin (4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, dining room) and one restored free-standing cottage (living room, 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms), two small barns, and one original bakery with a bread oven.

Both have authentic details such as original chimneys with en pierre' walls and an open fireplace and central heating.

Walk through the wide open garden doors and you will arrive on the terrace with a view over the hills, meadow, and woods. In a few steps you will reach the swimming pool, situated somewhat lower.

The swimming pool (10 X 15 meters) is surrounded by lavender, rosemary, thime, curry, and sage. There are cherries, plums, and fig trees on the large grass field, and vines one terrace lower.
