Puy de Dôme, Auvergne (Center)
Former (and future?) hotel in use as spiritual centre
About 7 km from Arlanc, village with pharmacy, bakery, supermarket and Monday morning market. At 30 km is Ambert, with a hospital. Issoire is at 45 km. The property is in a village 150km south-west of Lyon in the triangle between Clermont-Ferrand, Le Puy-en-Velay and St. Etienne. Puy de Dome has two natural parks: the Parc des Volcans and Parc Livradois. Le Massif de Sancy, a nice ski area, is about 1 hours drive. The Auvergne is a region with lots of variety. Vulcano landscapes, forests and a rich natural life.
The centre
The left wing is in use as a hotel. First floor with 8 rooms, two toilets and a shower. Second floor with 8 rooms, two toilets and one shower. Third floor converted into one big space.
Centre part
Ground floor with restaurant, reception hall and staircase. Seven kitchens. The first floor: apartment with kitchen and bathroom with steam-shower cabin and toilet (under construction). Second floor: three small rooms used for storage, a corridor with two toilets and an office. Above, there are five rooms, a toilet, a shower and above it all an attic. Behind the kitchens is an after-kitchen, a boiler room in the cellar, with a central heating installation on wood granules (automatic, just like fuel).
